Just checked FPAS website I have passed Module 4 - Investment Planning & Module 5 - Retirement Planning in my 1st sitting.

Now I am qualified to obtain my professional designation as Associate Wealth Planner (AWP). So many things happened since last year December (pass Module 1 exam), anyway it’s definite regards as a good motivations to cheer me up and enable me keep on moving forward.

Weekly Goals (18th Apr - 24th Apr)


Wonderful Monday again, it's time to review my last week performance as well as setting new goals for the new coming week.

Last week goals:

  1. To fine tune my resume – done
  2. To finish my interview questionnaire – pending
  3. To send out at least 5 job applications – I applied 7 jobs
  4. To register for RES course – done
  5. To declare income tax for my hubby & myself – done
  6. To finish my pending business plan – done
  7. To read shipping related topics at least one topic per day – done
New Goals for this week:
  1. To finish my interview questionnaire
  2. To send out at least 10 job applications
  3. To register ACCA exam for my hubby
I will stop this process untill I have found a good job.

Set Weekly Goals

Successful person always like to set goals and try their level best to achieve the goals. Even they faced some obstacles or failures during their journey, but they never give up and always stand up again and move on towards their final destination.

Life is short, stop wasting your time!

I decided to start setting weekly goals in the beginning of every week and review my results in the weekend. All my goals must be objective, measurable, and achievable.

  1. To fine tune my resume
  2. To finish my interview questionnaire
  3. To send out at least 5 job application
  4. To register for RES course
  5. To declare income tax for my hubby & myself
  6. To finish my pending business plan
  7. To read shipping related topics at least one topic per day

用怎样的态度来面对失业

恢复自信。列出你曾经取得的成就,帮助你认识到你对原先雇主做出的贡献和你的价值,激发你的自我认同。要让你自己相信,雇主让你离职是一个非常愚蠢的决定,你一定会取得更好的职位和更好的业绩,让他后悔莫及。恢复你的自信心,是走出失业困扰的第一步。

学会倾诉。将你心中的愤怒和抱怨以及恐惧等不良情绪,向你信任的家人或密友倾诉,体会他们对你的尊重和关心也可以减轻你心中的自责和无助的感觉。

进行你喜欢的运动,如跑步、游泳或骑车。这样,可以避免因困惑、自责等不良情绪而导致的沮丧、乏力或其他健康问题。

让自己忙起来。集中你的精力专注于为新职位作准备,这样你就不会觉得那么害怕了。或者做其它一些你喜欢的事情,对于一些心理承受能力差的人,这可能是个更好的主意。

慎选新职位。恐惧和经济上的窘迫可能会迫使你接受一份你并不喜欢的新工作,这样非常容易造成你在新职位上的失败。你要申请那些适合你,你并有能力适应的工作,不要匆忙接受你得到的第一份工作。

很多事情就是这样,你所理想的往往和现实都存在一定的差距,要正确面对现实,随着个人日益的不断的进步,见的世面多了、工作的经验丰富了,要求也自然的提高了。

生活是残酷的,所有的梦想都必须用现实来说话,正确面对社会,面对自己,要对自己对家人负责人!
